Meet the team

Lynn Throsby’s CV

Lynn has been with the Tonic since 2006 and her speciality is yoga and relaxation. Lynn truly believes that everyone can find an aspect of yoga that will benefit them. Lynn’s sessions each have a different theme running throughout and cover hatha yoga, working with your breath, posture work, breathing exercises and relaxation.

Lynn has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and unusually, came to yoga by accident — literally. She turned to yoga after she fall off a ladder at work — (as a window dresser at the time), initially to help strengthen her back and improve flexibility. She soon discovered the art of yoga was more than just exercises – and so her journey began.

The many aspects of yoga have helped her through the various stages of her life: store manager, staff/manager trainer, conference presenter, pregnancy, child birth, motherhood and even her children’s GCSE’s.

As her family grew up she wanted to share her belief and understanding of yoga with others and so trained with the inner healing school of yoga, each year she continues to study, learn and develop herself in associated therapies and styles of yoga, putting her learning into practice with children and adults of all ages and levels of abilities from beginners, health challenged to advanced yogis.
